Jeremy Todd Browner, JD

Jeremy Todd Browner, Esq. started the Law Office of Jeremy Todd Browner, PLLC in February 2009. Mr. Browner received his B.S. in 1997 in Aviation Technology with a minor in Avionics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Mr. Browner then received his J.D. in 2001 from Hofstra University School of Law in Hempstead, Long Island, New York. He was admitted in 2002 to New York State, 2003 to Ohio, and in 2008 to Maryland and North Carolina.
Mr. Browner most recently advised the UNC School of Medicine's Executive Associate Dean of Administration and Finance on a variety of projects. Before being fully admitted, he was the first attorney in the State of North Carolina to be licensed to exclusively practice pro bono for indigent clients. He helped represent clients in foreclosure, complex real property, and consumer issues.
From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Browner was an associate at Feinstein & Nisnewitz, P.C., a small firm in Bayside, New York, which practice was almost exclusively construction law. Mr. Browner has represented contractors, architects, owners, and engineers. He is experienced in bidding and contract formation, subcontracts, defaults, change orders, bonds, mechanics' liens for private and public words, construction insurance matters, defects and failures, design professional's role and liability, construction safety, environmental concerns, damages and remedies, prevailing wages, and alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Browner previously had a law practice in Cleveland, Ohio, where he concentrated his practice to Bankruptcy and Civil Litigation. He has also interned for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Torts Branch, Section of Aviation and Admiralty and for Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA).
Mr. Browner is also the former commander of the local Orange County Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol (CAP) (www.cap.gov). He serves as one of the CAP's Legal Officers. He is an accomplished Commercial Pilot and holds an Amateur Radio License.
